How I Ended Up Here:
I knew what I wanted to do early in life and haven't stopped working for it. Since 2010, I've worked alongside planners, caterers, and venues...the ultimate crash course in how weddings really work. I’ve gained so much experience behind the scenes that it prepared me to launch my own company in 2016. I'm a firm believer in lifelong learning. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, became a certified event planner under the iconic Kevin Lee, and had the incredible opportunity to intern with both him and David Tutera in Los Angeles.
In 2018 I opened our big Bride and Joy showroom to bring curated decor and specialty rentals to life for our amazing clients. I can’t wait to create something unforgettable with you

I'm a cheeseburger lover, gin drinker, and have never turned down a bowl of mac + cheese.
I always read the dessert menu first because I'm a planner and love to be prepared.
Matthew 6:34 keeps me grounded when things get wild.
It's been one of my greatest honors to have started a charity that turned130 years of my family's work in Guatemala into an official non-profit called Raising Guatemala.

Every business has that person who holds it all together, and for us, that's Meli. From coordinating events, mixing up custom cocktails, handling deliveries, cleaning the warehouse, hauling gear...there's nothing she won't take on. She's everywhere all at once. She lifts the heavy stuff (literally and figuratively), keeps the team moving and somehow still finds time to love on our clients like they're family. She's the calm in the chaos, the positive force that keeps morale high, and manages to make the busiest days feel fun. People are drawn to her vibe - cool, capable, and full of energy.
Whether you get the version of her shaking up your drink behind the bar, driving our truck full of rentals, or putting final touches on your space before it all starts, she's creating magic. She always rallies, brings unstoppable enthusiasm, and keeps both the team and guest spirits high.

Like a best friend with a clipboard and fanny pack, she stays by the bride's side, gently anticipating every need before it's even voiced. She notices the little things: a glass of champagne getting low, a needed touch up in between photos, or a moment of overwhelm behind a smile. She's a reassuring presence offering tissues, a sip of water, or a hand to hold. She knows exactly when to crack a joke, when to step in with quiet guidance, and when to give the bride space to take it all in. Morie designs and creates stunning florals that bring our client's vision to life. She dives deep into the details to capture the perfect colors, mood, and style. She exudes sweetness and generosity with her time and talents. Each piece is well thought out and she works tirelessly to deliver the perfect florals. Her passion and heart for people shines through her work. She only takes on a set number of clients a year so that she can serve them to the fullest.
Ray is involved in the day-of execution of florals and event setups/breakdowns. She is meticulous and has beautiful vision implementing the most meaningful pieces throughout wedding day. We love her eye for detail and the care she takes in using every flower. She makes sure every bloom counts, elevating spaces you might have overlooked into something truly special.

The big chalkboard A-frames. They give so much space to do different fonts and incorporate special add ins to give each wedding it's own flair.

Most Unique Writing I've Done:
A seating chart on different sized vases. The gorgeous big blue glass vases that can be rented were a perfect backdrop for a fun seating chart that allowed guests to easily find their seat without all being crowded on one piece

Best Part of My Job:
Hearing the feedback! I love hearing from couples about how the calligraphy was the perfect addition to such a magical day. I also love hearing how guests enjoyed seeing their names written on different pieces.

Megan takes care of all the personalized writing on every single piece you see coming out of our showroom doors. Her ability to write in multiple fonts on so many different pieces is amazing.
