How I Ended Up Here:
I knew what I wanted to do early in life and haven't stopped working for it. Since 2010 I've worked for event coordinators, wedding planners, and catering companies. I’ve gained so much experience behind the scenes that it prepared me to launch my own company in 2016. I believe in ALWAYS learning, so I've gotten a Bachelors degree in Event Management, wedding planning certified by Kevin Lee, and interned for both him and David Tutera in Los Angeles.
In 2018 I bought Bride and Joy and opened up a 2500 square foot warehouse to offer specialty rentals and decor to clients. I look forward to creating with you!
Fun Facts
I'm a cheeseburger lover, red wine + bourbon drinker, and have never turned down a bowl of mac + cheese.
I always ALWAYS look at the dessert menu first...because I'm a planner and you have to decide these things early!
Matthew 6:34 is my life verse.
I'm incredibly honored to have started a charity that turned 130 years of my family's work in Guatemala into an official non-profit called Raising Guatemala.

Lynsey, Lead Assistant
Lynsey is the best hype girl. She makes everyone feel like a star . She puts our couples first and will notice even the smallest of things she can do to make them feel confident, comfortable, and happy. She is an expert at perfectly fluffing the bride's dress while giving calming words of affirmation before sending her down the aisle. Once the major wedding events are done for the evening and the reception is flowing, you can catch her dancing in the corner to some Backstreet Boys like nobody's business.
Mini, Warehouse Manager
Bride and Joy would not be up and running without this man. He keeps our orders organized and arriving at their locations on the right days and times. He fixes broken things and creates beautiful new pieces. He shows up to every event with a smile on his face and goes out of his way to make each big day run smoothly. His positivity and energy can change the mood of a whole room. He's the guy you know you can turn to to with any problem and he will MacGyver a way to make it all work.

Morie designs and creates stunning florals that bring our client's vision to life. She dives deep into the details to capture the perfect colors, mood, and style. She exudes sweetness and generosity with her time and talents. Each piece is well thought out and she works tirelessly to deliver the perfect florals. Her passion and heart for people shines through her work. She only takes on a set number of clients a year so that she can serve them to the fullest.

Ray, Floral Assistant and Event Setup
Ray is involved in the day-of execution of florals and event setups/breakdowns. She is meticulous and has beautiful vision implementing the most meaningful pieces throughout wedding day. We love her eye for detail and the care she takes in using every flower. She will put time into places you may not have noticed before, but will definitely notice once she has done her magic.
Favorite Bench in the Store:
It's a toss up between The Amanda and The Honey, I love the warm tones in both of these sets. You can't go wrong with either one of these beauties!​

Juli, Showroom Manager
Everything in our showroom runs through Juli's hands before and after they go to our clients. She meticulously cleans, counts, and organizes. She is the reason our showroom even functions. Juli is reliable and always goes with the flow. She's a calming and consistent presence. She handles everything with so much care and love and treats our clients like gold!
Megan, Calligrapher
Megan takes care of all the personalized writing on every single piece you see coming out of our showroom doors. Her ability to write in multiple fonts on so many different pieces is amazing. She's extremely talented and also an incredibly kind and accommodating human being. She's always there when you need her! Come by and see our entire wall dedicated to her work!

His face is one of the first ones you see when you come back down the aisle as a married couple. He delivers your favorite drinks while you enjoy that Post Ceremony glow. He’s worked in the service industry for 20 years and his positive attitude is contagious. His infectious laugh livens up the party and he creates incredible cocktails on the fly that guests keep coming back for.
She handles all of our private tastings and guides our clients through the bar process so that the alcohol never runs out and the good times keep rolling. She manages our ingredients, cooks delicious simple syrups to make your cocktails unique, and shows up ready to bring the party to you. She has our client's back from start to finish.
